Industry watch · 22–25 September 2026

From 22 to 25 September 2026 in Lusaka, Great Lakes Trade Facilitation and Integration Project teams from the DRC and Burundi worked with COMESA to align communication strategies and a shared activity roadmap.

CPL’s editorial perspective

For operators, clear and consistent information helps prepare cross-border movements. CPL’s editorial reading is to identify intended border crossings, the goods involved, documentation and relevant contacts before departure. This article concerns communication coordination: it does not announce a new customs exemption or confirm an immediate procedural change at every border crossing.
